@RS – That’s new info for me. I had no idea that existed. If it exists there, why can’t it exist on the channel strip?

@tpaulding – You may not want it to change, maybe I described the situation poorly. I have found a situation that it would be beneficial for my work flow. If it doesnt change when I stereo the input, fine. But, putting the preamp control hidden in the IO page (there is no indication on the surface thats where that is) instead of on the channel seems silly to me.

That post from 2 years ago so it was pretty buried. Good to know I’m not the only one looking for this feature. Strange that it’s been 2+ years since it was originally requested and it’s still not implemented.

When you say 10 user logins per console, is that a combination of Custom Control/Director/MixPad or is that 10 instances of each?

If I’m looking for it in a pinch? Some one plugs it into the wrong patch or mislabeled. I have click/track come from different sides of the stage depending on where the drummer is setup. Sometimes the patch gets done incorrectly. Rather than tracing cables to see where it is (I don’t have an A2) and I’m short on time it would be nice to see meters dancing. Similar to lighting up a port on a mix rack from a surface.

Again. This is what preproduction/rehearsal are for. Just thought it should be a simple enough indication for specific cases.

Bringing this back up. Input and Output mute indicators on the meters tab would be sexy.
