I actually run my effects through a group and insert Waves plugins on the group for alternative effects.
The dry / wet channels or groups really works well.

Send them all to a group. Inset de-esser on the group. You can use dynamic EQ on the group for the same results.

I have the Waves card, and I wanted my plugins also for live. I set up a Matrix, basically grabbing all channels on the SQ, sent it to a MOTU M4, (USB interface) I was using the USB on the board for tracks. This worked really well. I was even able to use a couple of the plugins to help shape my sound on the matrix. I had plenty of reverb for the singers also.

The IPad app as an offline editor has a lot to be desired compared to offline editors of desks in this same price range.
I’m still hoping a Win/Mac version in the works.

Keith, in looking at this signal flow (thank you) it would shows the insert point being before the channel EQ and compressor. Doesn’t this lower the utility of the Dynamic EQ, which is an insert. Dynamic EQ and Multiband compressors, are dynamic corrective tools, so in effect you are correcting something that hasn’t been set up yet. I may be all wet in my thinking. I’m just trying to figure out the best way to utilize the great tools.

At least the firmware update is showing up on actual SQ units, so we are past the vapor ware stage.

Thanks Andre, I understand that would be the workaround. Just thought I might have missed something.
