They worked hard to release the software in July but in August unexpectedly the team decided to take their summer vacation. Now the whole team is relaxing in Ibiza. When they’re back Corona wave 4 will lock them in their home offices…

I think you’re right @brian.
I read in the news here in Germany: Sennheiser, RCF, D&b – they are all on short-time work due to corona. I wouldn’t be surprised if A&H struggels with the same problems. With a reduced team it all takes longer, that’s clear.
But on the other side I’m really glad to see a progress, even it’s a small one.

When we decided to buy a new mixer a few years ago there were some guys in our team which absolutely wanted a VI.

I’m glad it turned out to be a dlive because VI is “dead”.

So I’m looking forward for some fancy new features for the dlive – keep on doing A&H. All the Best 🙂

Maybe it’s a strategy related issue?
Let’s assume dlives end of life is not so far away – it get’s one additional update and thats it. Then digico takes over the dlive segment and A&H focusses on mixers below the dlive?

Hello A&H,
any news on this topic? I think the last communicated date was March/April…

I guess many dlive’s are still in the warehouse, waiting for the next gig.
But some of them are running several times a week like ours and therefore we’re curious about the hopefully upcoming V1.9 😉

Sorry I’m a digital newbie 🙂
If I use the AES Out (one can transport two channels, correct?) which interface do I use to connect it with the PC? I don’t want a internal PCI card…

Okay, for the beginning we will still use our USB audio interface. (for sure: double conversion A->D->A->D is not state of the art).
In the mean time I will look for a used Dante card with M-DL-ADAPT.
It’s a pity that the SQ-Dante card is not suitable for the dlive…

We use wavelab for recording. I never used reaper. Does it make sense to switch to reaper?
