Can i connect behringer IEM system directly on my qu16?
2016/11/06 at 8:31 pm #59113Thanks Dick for your feedback.
Finally i updated to 1.9 and the problem solved, but anyway i don’t find that solution either logical or practical. For example if i am ok with 1.6 that practical forces me to update to the latest firmware.
Thanks again.
2016/11/04 at 10:00 pm #59098Example:
I saved a PEQ PRESET user1. I can copy user1 to stick, and then re-copy the user1 from stick to mixer. The file saved at library folder on stick.
I am deleting all files from library folder and i copy to stick all shure presets downloaded from a&h website.
The mixer reads the stick i can see the preset files stored in qu drive but when i press “to qu” nothing happens2016/11/04 at 8:10 pm #59095I downloaded the files 3 times!! I am very disapointed!
2016/11/04 at 7:57 pm #59093I can transfer libraries from qu16 to usb but not the opposite.
Firmware: 1.82I’m trying to transfer shure pro factory presets from A&H website.
The usb is properly formatted!2016/11/04 at 7:47 pm #59092Any help???
2016/11/03 at 11:01 pm #59078Yes the USB is properly formatted and the files downloaded from Allen Heath qu library from this site. The files are shown in the USB on mixer but can’t copy it.

2016/03/16 at 11:01 am #54591Thank you Nicola,
Ok i understand what the midi strip is, and works fine with A&H drivers for mac.
My concern is how can i assign, pan/eq controls etc. from my qu to logic parameters. For example i’m going to control surfaces-> controller assignments or window->open midi environment or somewhere else? I understand the philosophy but i don’t know the way to do that.
Thanks for your help!!
2016/03/15 at 7:35 pm #54579Sorry but i am confused. Is there finally a way to assign knobs of qu-16 with logic??
2016/03/15 at 12:05 pm #54571Yes i’m using the midi strips in the custom layer.
So there is not a way to “learn” in logic the pan knob (of qu) for example, to be assigned to the pan (of logic)?
2016/03/15 at 8:32 am #54567Thanks for your help Nicola!
My Qu-16 is connected to Mac via usb. So i use midi via usb and not tcp. I open controller assignments from logic menu and choose learn function but when i move for example the pan knob, or eq knobs, or hpf in/out, the mixer don’t send a midi signal to the mac in order to program other functions. In addition when i move for example faders or press mute/select/pafl buttons i saw the midi signal on the screen and i can assign all these buttons as i wish. The problem is with the rest knobs/buttons of the desk.
Thank you!

2015/10/15 at 3:04 pm #51377Thank you Andreas for your explanation, now i understand! I’m new to the digital and DAW world so understand 🙂
I’ll read the logic documentation and i hope to fix my “problems”
Thank you again!
