If You prefer direct output for each instrument, You can select source point for this on input strip (globally) – see picture.
Of course, You can also go way descriped by Mfk0815 – split one input to two stripes, and each strip with independent processing….

Use GigaAce card for connecting GX4816 and built Slink for 48KHz expanders on Dsnake protocols (AR84, AR2412, AB168).

Successfully discovered 🙂

1) activate (open) Dyn8 instance
2) press and hold options in pernament area on left side
3) select Dyn8 options
4) save / recall preset

Copying of Dyn8 parameters soluted.

1) open Dyn8 instance on selected channel
2) press copy and select opened Dyn8
3) on the required strip has to be inserted next Dyn8 instance
4) paste to required strip

It works also from I/O setup screen !!!!! You can repeatedly use assign function for 1 input socket to x stripes.

In my opinion, there are min. 2 ways how to do it :
1) hardware splitting (trousers) – 1 instrument/mic to 2 inputs on AR rack / GLD desk
2) You can assign in I/O config one HW input from AR/GLD to x channel strips, gain and preamp are common, but all other functions are independent. This solution I´m using for my guitar – 1 mic or PALMER DI-09 to 3 strips, copying basic setup of fits strip to 2 others and apply different delay and pan for each channel

Try use group for boost speakers and matrix as source for recording. To matrix route speakers group and main output.

Look to lastest version of GLD User Guide AP8561 iss.3, page 7. “Note that GLD Remote version 1.2 must be used with a mixer running V1.2 firmware.”
Unfortunetly, new version of GLD remote isn´t released yet (I cannot find it on iTunes, only version 1.10)
