This feature is so huge in the SQ/Qu Range. Really sad it’s not implemented, like they did with the SLink Port, which is brilliant.
At least a Recording of 4 or 6 Channel directly to USB or local would help. When Im Doing a Quick „live recording“ as FOH I just Need Main LR + Ambience Mics. To buy a Dante card + Mac Just for Recording that is annoying.

thanks for your answer! You are right, I‘m mainly doing FOH and the 3 SQ matrixes are sometimes the Problem.
Another perspective: the SQ really is a powerhouse in terms of bussing for that pricepoint. Thinking about an Upgrade to Avantis a little more capability like 50 Mono Busses would have been nice… 😉

Hey Tobi,

in this case I just use an “Input Patch Library” on the IO page, not a scene. This should work fine.
For a Output USB patch f.e. I use a scene with the recall filter just open to “USB Patch”.

but there should be no difference using the Input Direct Outs (Routing: Post Preamp) -> USB? Or are there any advantages using tie lines SLINK -> USB?

Thanks Jon, but I’m also using internal EQ/compression. So I think I’m missing a dedicated “Insert” Safe switch. :/

Aren’t the input channels phase aligned with the group outputs? Than you should be able to send a “drum group” to a monitor mix and add extra “snare input channel” if needed. Need to try it, not sure.

Usually I‘m using a Kick out mic for getting low end, do you add the sinus instead?
You could even tune that sinus to the root note of the Song maybe.. ☺️
