I agree with Rafael, but good luck finding a dante card for either the sq or the ahm (they’re the same card) anytime soon!

I’m not sure if you can directly control softkeys, but you can control a large number of parameters from the streamdeck. I’d suggest that you download the companion software, and play around with it to see if it can do what you need before buying the streamdeck. You can do everything you’d need without the hardware, the hardware just provides a control surface.

You’ll want to use tie lines as it is the closest to the preamp that you can get, which is what the goal is with a digital split.

Yes, I recalled the show file that was created as a backup immediately before updating the firmware

I’m assuming that you have probably already checked, but is it possible that the mix busses are set to post fader and that the channels are getting turned down on the main mix for some reason?

So, on the Avantis, the mute groups and DCA mutes will cause the mute led under the mute button on each channel strip to light up, rather than the mute button itself on each channel strip. Could it be the case that this is what is happening, and it’s not actually an error of the console but rather a simple oversight?

Also, keep in mind that once a channel has been muted by a mute group or a dca, you must unmute the entire mute group or dca in order to unmute an individual channel. This kind of threw me for a loop as I had been used to an M32, where I could unmute a single channel even while a mute group was actively muted. It took some getting used to, but it’s really not an inconvenience at all anymore, you just have to be a little bit more mindful of how you setup your groups.

One thing mentioned at one point in the forums in the past was dynamic labels coming for the Avantis in custom control with version 1.1, but I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere in the keynote. Does anyone know if this will in fact make it into the 1.1 release, or is that something that I’m going to again have to wait longer on?
