    Hi. Was wondering if using an UPS (in pure sine wave current mode) to feed
    SQ 5 .. and another one to feed two DX168 on the stage, is a good idea..
    does it make any sense?

    It is never a bad idea. You should calculate the value of the expense. A good UPS is not cheap

    Modern gear has switching power supplies. They will turn whatever you send them into what they need. Unless there is actually a chance of power going off, you are simply adding another point of failure.
