Please check Mackie DL series for the flexibility to define groups with their own processing. My use-case is having separate Subgroups for DRUMS, VOCALS, and STRINGS.

+1 for Subgroups. Ideally at least 3 but more would be welcome. Include things like parametric eq (6 bands would be great but at least 4 with separate dedicated HPF and LPF) and Compressor.

Also, i’d love to have even just two bands of dynamic EQ (though more would definitely be welcome) on subgroups. Such a useful tool to have onboard. I’d also love some bands of dynamic EQ available on input channels and outputs as well but i’m sure there’s posts about that request in other thread(s).

    Hi,
I just did a job with choir with band and be able to use DCAs and custom layers was awaresome.

But indeed, comming from a analog desk with soubgroups, I was missing the possibility to process a group of channels. Regarding reverb, I could use send and return in the single channels, but it would have been befificial to clue together the groups by having a combined processing (compressor).
