I had a show file containing 4 stereo FX mixes, patched to Rack FX units 1 to 4. I wanted another FX send to use for monitor mixing, so I added 2 new mono FX mixes. These new mixes automatically assigned themselves to Rack FX units 1 and 2, and repatched stereo FX mixes 1 and 2 to Rack FX units 3 and 4. I am attempting to fix this, but the editor will not let me assign stereo FX mix 1 to Rack unit 1. “Stereo FX1” is simply not an available option. FX mixes will also not strip assign if they are not patched to an FX unit.
This all seems a bit silly…
Why can’t I change the mix configuration without the FX rack repatching itself?
