Would be nice to have a reset button on many pages like PEQ, GEQ, Compressor, Gate, etc. to reset that thing to its default settings. I actually saved a new/pristine setting of an untouched PEQ to be able to reset one (because I needed to reset a few). I think you could probably also “reload” that thing (sorry, just got my 20B today so still new at it) but a reset button would be faster/easier/smarter though IMHO.

Recalling a preset you saved is more likely to get what you want. I’ve never seen a manufacturer’s PEQ default that worked for me.

I am not really trying to reset it to use it as is (they are usually flat after a reset anyway). It is just like a restarting from scratch thing. Maybe you are in a new room where the EQ needs to change quite a bit compared to the last room. Rather than having to start from the settings of the previous room, I would rather just hit a reset button and start dialing in the new room.

I understand. But manufacturer’s initial choice of frequencies and bandwidths never make sense to me. I generally want something along the lines of 120, 1k, 3k, and 6k, all fairly narrow. I have that as a saved preset.

That’s great if that works for you. But that is not what I need/am requesting.
Mackie DL has it, Soundcraft Ui has it, and (if I remember correctly) QSC TouchMix has it on their PEQs. So it seems to be a thing most manufacturers think would come in handy because they think the users would find it handy. Plus, in my OP, I wasn’t JUST talking about the PEQ anyway.

It is already possible to perform a reset. Look at the manual section about ‘Processing Copy, Paste and Reset’ (page 29 of User Guide V1.1.0 Issue 1).
Very easy to reset e.g. your PEQ to its default state!
