    When a mix is sent to a matrix, does it retain the compression settings that are applied to the mix?

    Found a good block diagram. By the looks of it, L+R/Mixes/Groups all send to the matrix post processing. That is truly great as it appears that I could use a stereo matrix out instead of L+R for mains. Doing so, it would be possible to simulate 6 stereo groups instead of just 2. I like to have sub mixes to apply compression on say, all the drums or all the vocals.
