Given that the groups on larger QU mixers can now (well, with 1.8) be used as monitors, is there any chance of being able to configure a mix as a matrix – for example to split signal to a delay tower.

Installing a desk into a theatre over the weekend and we’ve used an external unit – but it might have been nice to have the three stereo mixes on the 16 available as matrix/group/mix (not quite sure how much extra DSP any of the above would take)

I would imagine it wouldn’t take more than a standard stereo mix: there’s still the summing and panning process, but instead of summing and panning channels you’re summing and panning mixes, and then the same DSP found of a standard stereo mix (peq, geq, compressor and delay) gets applied.

But I would love a matrix or a group on the Qu-16 as well, I really miss that
