In case anybody was wondering about the v1.95 Mac and v1.94 Windows iLive Editor apps working in Big Sur (M1) or Windows 11, I can tell you the following:

Surprisingly, the Mac v1.95 editor appears to work fine on my MacBook Air M1 running Big Sur 11.6. I haven’t tried connecting it to a console but it looks good in offline mode.

Using Windows 11 ARM preview in Parallels on the same MacBook Air, the Windows v1.94 editor works, but I can’t get the app to Archive shows and I can’t copy or move Shows from a connected USB drive to the app storage. This may just be a Parallels issue, so it may be ok on a native Windows machine.

I haven’t done much more experimenting than the above, so there could be things that don’t fully work, but it’s promising anyway.

I wonder how many iLive users are interested?

I’m trying to use iLive Editor v1.94 on Windows 11 and unable to discover the surface. Any progress on this?

The system is out of production since 2015. I think there will be no more updates on the software.

I have great news to all!

With the help of God, i was able to run iLive Editor 1.95 on a M1 MacMini under MacOS Monterey 12.7.4 !!!!

Reading some tips from old posts, someone suggested here, https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/yosemite/page/2#post-45959
    that :
“I found a way to launch the app on Yosemite. If you go to the applications folder and right click on “ilive editor” and select “show package contents”. Then navigate to “/resources/java/iLive_Editor.jar” and launch it. As long as you have the most recent java it works. This is was ran with java 8 40. I hope this help you out.”

So, I tried to run the iLive Editor from the path above and i succeded after adjusting my onboard ethernet (System Preferences > Network > Ethernet > Advanced > Hardware) to a Speed of “100baseTX”. That was the only way it worked and the iLive Editor loading bar didn’t failed as before. Hallelujah!

If there is still anyone “iLive” (pum intended) here, now in 2024, let me know!!

    Replying to Dave,
So I’m long late to this party… lol but I’m able to use 1.94 with Win11 and find the surface.
There are a few things that can trip you up.
1, if you have more than physical 1 NIC card in your machine, the software won’t know which card to use by default.
2, if you have a VPN app running, it can block the connection.
3, if you use “VMWare” or “VirtualBox” on you machine there will be a “virtual” NIC connection that has to be disabled or you won’t be able to connect.

I’ve run into each of these since I’ve updated to Win11.
