I use the SQ7 on a regular basis as the lead sound tech at my church. I’ve had problems with different people messing with my matrix settings and volumes, and I’d rather them not get touched after I’ve gone through and eq’ed the room.
I thought setting up a user account and blocking ‘control’ to the matrices would prevent the account from being able to adjust the faders and eq, etc. However, there doesn’t seem to be any noticeable difference, and one can easily adjust the fader and eq of the matrices if they wanted to.
I know that under Parameters it can be set up to block preamp, eq and other for Aux/Main/Matrix, but I don’t want to block Aux and Main, just the matrices.
Does anyone know what blocking control to the matrices actually does?
