GLD-80 Digital Out

I am trying to set up the spdif digital out for 27/28. How would I go about setting this to output spdif? I am really new at this and there is no tutorial I could find to help me set this up. Thanks!

Select the IO button to the right of the screen. Select the “surface/exp” tab page. Tap the spdf image (bottom row, single RCA image). Set the start to the desired output L channel, and the end to the R channel, and tap apply.
