    I was able to place the FX1Rtn fader on Channel Strip A (Channel 8 – right beside my vocals) using – Setup – Surface but how would I accomplish this using the IO page?

    Are you wanting the FX to return in a conventional channel? That’s not a thing you can do via internal routing. Apparently you can patch the returns to physical outputs via IO Patch/Outputs/Rack FX and then you could cable them to a channel, but there will be latency. Probably be fine for reverb.
