    Hi everyone,

I’m fairly new to the Allen&Heath world and I just came across a problem when using the DT168.
One channel keeps on having a crackling noise on top of the sound. I’ve switched the XLR, transmitter, receiver, rebooted everything, checked my routing settings in Dante and the the SQ5 but it’s still happening. At first I thought it might be an issue with the device itself, but I just used a different DT168 and the same noise is occuring just on a different channel now. Maybe someone can help?

    I’m using the following setup:
DT168 in switched mode connected to an Aruba 5 switch which then connects to the SQ5 via Dante.

Sounds like a sync issue. Make sure that the Dante card in the SQ is synching to the clock on the mixer. If you need another clock master, then make sure that the SQ is synchig to the Dante card.
