    Distortion / guitar amp simulation effects are the type of effect missing from dLive.
    Sansamp has been a saviour for bass guitar over the years on Venue desks.
    Behringer X32 has a Sansamp clone which does a nice job too.

    dLive should have it! 🙂

    another one of those…
    already in 2008 I wanted a distortion effect for the iLive. But this wish was unfortunately not fulfilled. Whenever I need distotion, I always use an external device (t.c. Fireworx). That’s awkward, but that’s how it works.

    with the preamp simulations you could certainly do something, that’s correct. you can now route much better internally than before. but that’s also a bit awkward, a real effects machine would really be a great thing.

    Unfortunately, preamp distortion sounds awfull with DI guitar signal. It wold be nice to have amp similation.
