Since the CQ has AMM, which is great, its predetermined to be used for talkshows and podcasts. The only thing I´m missing to let the voices sound more professional is a good De-Esser in the inputsection.
Please do it! I know you can 🙂

    +1.
Make it independent of the compressor please.
Maybe make the gate switchable to a deesser mode
Ideally one could change the order too.
Or perhaps choose between several modes on both dynamics processors.
Expander, gate, ducker, compressor, deesser options on both dynamic processors perhaps?
Also please add two or three subgroups to allow for additional processing.
    Am I asking too much?
Would be a allround winner if it’s possible to do some more pro processing with it.
If you’re doing AMM and 16 auto feedback notches, I don’t see why you couldn’t add some functionality like this.
    I’m thinking of buying one.

I was looking for the DeEsser in the FX slots on the CQ Mixpad app but I couldn’t find any way of even swapping out effects. Are those fixed or do you need the actual unit to swap out effects engines?

    Thanks

one option could be to add an eq to the compressor sidechain
