    Hi,

The QU16 v1.6 user guide description and block diagram show the channel meter as post-delay, pre mute. Not sure if I am missing or misunderstanding something but it appears to me that the channel meter is actually pre HPF?

E.g. Overload the gain and peak indicators light across the channel. Increase HPF frequency control and peak indicators extinguish but the channel peak indicator continues to display. Can do the same with PEQ and Comp.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers,
    Dave

Do you have a specific question? Or a point?

    All appears as it should.

Same as on ilive and GLD: the channel meters are where the block diagram says they are, but the peak LEDs light up whenever there’s is a clip *somewhere* in the signal chain for that channel.

Ah, that makes sense, it’s the *somewhere* in the signal chain which was throwing me.

The manual does state that, I missed the significance of it.
“Pk senses the signal at several points within the channel.”

Thanks for the replies, I’m a little more knowledgeable now.

    Cheers,
    Dave
