I just received my CQ-18T and am getting familiar with how the unit works.

I can envision some gigs where it would be nice to be free of plugging into a wall for power. Is it possible to run this on battery power? Perhaps with NP batteries or other batteries designed for remote work?

I’m going to say yes with the right batteries and connector, they use a 12 volt 5 amp power supply.

A friend of mine battery powers another small digital mixer, wireless mic receivers and uses battery powered speakers for smaller outdoor wedding ceremonies.

Today I would look at the lithium battery inverters like the Jackery units.

Agree with Mike C. I would just look for a battery power station that supplies AC mains power. There are so many options to choose from and, as you said, you can use it for other devices too by just using their included power cords and not having to worry about matching all sorts of various DC voltage and polarity.
