    Hi Nick,

The CQ-18T and CQ-12T require a 12V DC (centre positive) 5.4 amp supply.
Please contact your local distributor for pricing and availability of the supplied PSU part ref: AM12199

    Cheers,
    Keith.

Any reason why you wouldn’t use a standard IEC which everyone has extras of? Makes the old ZED 10FX look pretty good. Maybe people will wait another decade.

Well it has to go somewhere and inside the unit wasn’t a fit so………
Rather have a reliable external psu than a compromised internal one thanks very much:)

There were a few reasons, mainly size of unit vs performance.
The CQ-20B has space to position the PSU away from audio circuitry for example, where the CQ-12T and CQ-20B do not, being that they also have screens and control boards.

I’ve had zero success being able to get a backup power supply from any AH distributors.

However, I found this one on Mouser that arrived today and work perfectly:

    Hope this helps!

The extra external supply is ALWAYS a pain!
This is the same issue I had with the QSC TouchMix 8&16 mixers.
So yes, don’t lose that power supply!

@Hansenhaus Thank you for sharing! I also had no success finding a backup power supply from AH distributors in NL. I’ve ordered your suggestion now,

A Suggestion for Allen & Heath: Please make this spare part easily available with some shops. Thank you 😉

Come on guys, any 12 Volt, 5 Amp power supply with center positive (the most commons) will make it.
    It’s 10 to 15 bucks everywhere…
