Audio Sync Lock not working?

hi, i have a gld80 and AR2412

i am new to them but bough them seperityly, thay woud not connect to each other and i was advides to go to a previos firmwair (v1.61) and then the desk and stage box work 🙂 the only probkem is that the Audio Sync lock has a red X and the audio from the stage box sound fluttery, has anyone had thos issue and can anyone help pleas?

Hello Jamie,
If the AR2412 is the older version, then yes the first step is to go back to V1.61 firmware.
Also, use a short, 3M, factory Cat6 patch cable to test.
Use the D-Snake connector on both the GLD80 and the AR2412.
Once you establish you can sync the AR to the GLD, then you can try a longer shielded Cat cable.
I have used 150′ Ethercon and 150′ shielded cat6 with success.
