In Actions I’d love to have the option to apply an action to a currently selected channel.
Example:
When programming a Theatre show I’d like to select an input channel, then apply an action to it that:
toggles between state A – the channel being sent to a lead Vocal group, taken out a B Vocal group, sets the level to unity, strip Colour to light blue
State B – Channel taken out of lead vocal group, put into B Vocal group, Level at -6dB (for example) strip colour to Green
Combined with a Softkey colour change to indicate the current state.
For this to be possible we need the option in Actions config to have “Selected Channel” as an option in the ASSIGN> CHANNEL TYPE>
instead of selecting a specific channel.
a Selected Channel option could be useful for many other action functions also.
