2011/01/28 at 9:12 pm #27133ElphieParticipantThe readme file for version 1.8 says that you can only downgrade to firmware version 1.72 but I can’t seem to locate it. I’m happy to update but I’d prefer to have a backout plan before committing.

Meanwhile – is there any more detailed explanation someone can offer about that speaker matrix thang you’ve put together? Looks intriguing. What’s the idea behind it, and what applications will it be most useful, in your eyes?

You can now route 4in 8 out of the fx units, and the processor is a new effect. In fact here is a shot from my phone at NAMM.

Just for fun here is a shot of the iPad app. Cant see much I know but its there and awesome!

So useful but not a full speaker processor replacement.

IDR48/IDR16/T112/R722011/01/29 at 3:08 pm #27139BiggsoundsParticipantI’ve spent the evening playing around with Editor 1.8 & my Behringer BCR2000 rotary MIDI controller & I’ve now got it humming with 32 channels of levels and pans at easy access along with a single “focus” pre-amp gain pot for use when trimming channels… the only bummer so far (and I’m sure this is just me not having any idea what I’m doing with the MIDI side of things) is I can’t seem to make the iLive software “learn” push buttons on the behringer (only the rotary encoders); any ideas?
I have to say this is so much more than I expected from this release – I’d have been happy even with just the Dante & iPad support!!! Liking the new compressors etc (just more options, and I LOVE the parallel option on the compressor now – monster kick drum sounds here I come!).iDR32 mixrack

iLiveT80 / iDr32
2011/01/31 at 1:08 pm #27162StixParticipantNot in mine either – Macbookpro 10.6.5 However I loaded a show (made with a surface connected) that had one in the rack and it shows up – so I saved it as a user preset in the library and you can then load it into other fx slots. It’s a workaround – I think they forgot to include a speaker matrix Factory preset in Editor – on a mac anyway.

I mean its kind of self explanatory but any more insight would be awesome.
