How? As I see it you can send up to 5 outputs + up to 2 sub feeds but the 5 outputs are just HP filtered only aren’t they? I don’t see how to frequency band limit them further to do mids/highs etc – other than using another FX Matrix unit to split further. This is because the only Low Pass Filters I can find are in the Sub path which has > two outputs. As I see it each unit is a two channel (or 2 + 1) input/two way split with the high pass outputs going to a matrix that feeds up to 5 outputs. So to do a stereo three way you will need two instances of the Fx Matrix – one to split out to subs, and another to do stereo mids/highs. And you still don’t have individual comps/limiters on each output so not all that good as a speaker processor replacement. PLEASE – correct me if I’m all wrong on this!!

2011/02/02 at 10:01 am #27188AnonymousInactiveI have no speaker matrix available at all.
Quite annoying, as I was planning to actually use it!

Hi,
the hold function is there to prevent accidental engaging the 48v.
It’s there for a reason and i don’t think it is possible to dissable it.
Same function on the surface.
to use it just keep pressing on the button ( surface or editor ) for a second.regards

If you have a PA System containing nearfills, outfills and center cluster you can use the speaker matrix to transform your mix into your PA syystem needs without change your setup all the time.
So adaption on different lokations is easier.SRV-AVB

Just multiband comp + dynamic eq and the system is winner []
Pitk.

Hi have a solution for you –
if you have a pc, install the 1.80 editor,
once installed go to f.ex. c:programmsAllen & HeathiLive Editor V1.80librariesfactorycopy the libraries.xml to a usb stick
now move to your mac
go to your app folder , rightclick on ilive editor 1.80
show content
folder contentsrecourcesJavalibrariesfactory
rename the libraries.xml to f.ex. libraries1.xml
move the libraries.xml from your usb stick here and your done.
next time you start editor 1.80 the fx rack shows speaker matrix
