+1 for Reaper too. I use Protools at work but happy with Reaper for all home business. Reaper also used as acquisition multitrack recorder in BBC radio OB fleet.

I presume ‘not supported’ means won’t work at all.
I’m caught between the cost of the 2412 and the limited functionality of the 0804. looks like analogue snake for me for a bit longer.

Thanks Mike, nothing wrong with the conventional approach I agree, just a bit messy after getting used to RME totalmix in my laptop with built in M&S decoding.
Moon on a stick would be handy too : )
