    Hi there
I have a Zed-FX22 and channel 14 has been dead for a long time. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be
Rest of the desk is fine, it’s 14 years old and has been fantastic
    Thanks

Do any of the aux sends work from that channel?

Could be a dirty contacts on channel insert jack, does the 1/4 inch input jack work?
Maybe open it up and re-seat the ribbon cable in the channel card.

    Hi Mike
Neither the jack or mic input give me anything and I did open it up and reseat the ribbon cable, I also cleaned the mute switch with some deoxit 5 cleaner. I haven’t tried the aux sends, I’ll try it when I get home

anything else? Can I get a replacement channel, complete, from A&H?

Check at Full Compass for A&H parts.

OK I just noticed your in the UK, not sure of a part distributor in your area.

For a test use an insert cable and send audio to the ring connection and see if have audio on the channel…..or only plug a mono 1/4 plug into the inset jack to the first “click” position and see if the channel has any audio.

The insert jack is after the preamp.

It’s sounding like a bad channel card.
If your wanting to check another thing to more or less rule out the preamp, on the
insert jack try sending an external input signal to the ring of the insert jack, if you have that signal on the channel that points to a bad preamp on the board. That could be an easy fix if your set up for that….or just find a replacement channel card.
