    Hi there,
ZED6 and ZED8 share the same psu (in original version) . But replacing the diode SB1100 or SR1100 is completely WRONG !!! This will work for some time but the fail will repeat again after some working time. SB1100 / SR1100 shouldn’t be there. It is underrated. Also othe components need to change – recuperation circuits. There is serious design flaw. I’v recalculated and fitted by measurement. Without repairing this, the PSU will be faulty again.
Replacing componets without analyzing reasons od faliure is a silly repair way.

I’m late to the party here. I have a ZED60-14FX. It’s my second. First died with a power supply problem, but got replaced under warranty. Out of warranty now and the power supply has started acting up. How can I get a replacement?

These https://iproductkeygen.com/ipadian-premium-crack/ viewpoints plan to convey a similar UI and usefulness. Clients can look through the Application Store to find and download new applications. Its capacities go past basically running applications with an iOS-like connection point.

My analog mixer ZEDi 10FX broke down recently with a shorted diode D3 on the 12V output rail. I believe the ZEDi 10FX has the same or at least very simmiliar PSU design as the ZED6/8.

    Fully agree on this statement.

(simi, I have also wrote a PN, but I am not sure if you turned on email notification so I will try here again)

Could you share with me/us your findings and the solution to fix the design flaws of this PSU, please?

    Many thanks!

A&H’s attitude continues to smack one’s gob. The company continues to scream ‘toxic culture’ to any customers/investors. If I was an A&H employee and posted this I would be braced in anticipation of a proper bollocking from the brand/corp comm’s director (who still seems to be on permanent leave and/or possesses the same level of indifference for his/her career as he/she has for the brand he/she should be nuturing).

Over the last 30 years I have spent well over £125k and influeneced purchases amounting to far more A&H revenue. In the same 30 years A&H has been squeezed by vulture capitalists, sold on, bought back by management and then rinsed again/flipped over 9 times.

This explains why a hugely respected brand like A&H has lost myself and many other of my colleagues a big number accounts. And they didn’t even manage to grift a tonne of cash from expensive gear before they lost our respect and access to large budgets. No, no, no….. they killed numerous top accounts with little Zed units they could not have made any money on at all. Zeds that literally cost them money to produce that then died on their third or fourth use.

This kind of product fault would be recalled by any vaguely stable company. A good company would send prepaid DPD bags through the post, charm the customers and set their street-fighting lawyers onto the suppliers of the faulty components. A healthy company would have to. Simple economics. These failing £90 units that weren’t selling enough to make money but were selling enough and then braking enough to tarnish their top tier consoles (the money makers) with the same shitty brush. It can even spin back – if they caught the fault early they could have pulled asn ‘Atari’and filled an old tin mine with the duff units and waited until the next generation was out treasure hunting and flogging them as bits of pop bollox-culture for silly money.

Sadly, a bit like KeithJ, the moderator, all of Allen & Heath’s staff seem to be (I hate to think what’s gone on to drive the good ones to this) resigned to the fact they’ve sold a tonne of donkeys to their customers and the company isn’t prepared to do anything about it. KeithJ and any other staff should probably keep their thoughts to themselves until they have an actual solution that would solve something. Who’s going to RTB their £100 mixer at a minimum cost of £50 with an open ended parts and labour on top??????? FFS! Our time is money too you silly sods, forgetting the fact we’re not F^%$£n morons!

Now Behringer is bringing out kit, some as good as the top tier stuff for a quarter of the money, that cool but definitely second tier ALLEN & HEATH definietly has no placed in the market any more. As far as off the shelf stuff goes Behringher, Neve, SSL and Dangerous cover all the price points and continue to surprise. A&H is content with ongoing customer disappointment.
