Why does my CQ20B work in stereo but not in stream mode multitrack as a playback

i am trying to hook my cq20b up to my computer via usb-b and be able to record multitrack stream mode directly to my computer daw [audacity] and also have my cq20b as my playback device is this possible ?,

i can record via stereo mode and have it and my source track playback through the cq20b outputs but when i switch the stream mode to multitrack i dont get anything it is very strange ,any help would be greatly appreciated .thanks
