I”m looking to record more than 64 channels on the dlive console. If I get the Waves3 card, would I need to buy any other waves product to be able to record more than 64 channels at a time? I don’t want to go the dante 128 x 128 route, as I’ll need to get a PCI card. But if I can record with the waves3 card, that’s definitely something I’ll do.
    Does anyone have experience? Answers?

I think you just need to download the Soundgrid Studio Free version (https://www.waves.com/account/soundgrid-studio-free) which will include the Soundgrid Driver (https://www.waves.com/soundgrid-systems/driver#soundgrid-connect-more-processing-power) which should allow you to multitrack record using a DAW.

Edit- actually it might be that you only really need to download the Soundgrid Driver which seems to be available as a stand alone download.

You’ll need the A&H driver too, which can be found my installing “Waves Central” you’ll need to search ‘all products’ (by default it’s only products you’ve purchased) and you’ll find the Allen & Heath Driver.
