While testing the compressor bundle, I came across an interesting compressor.
It felt like the Mighty Compressor was working just like Waves’ L2 Maximizer.
When I lowered the threshold, the sound seemed to rise to the output level.
So I applied it to the matrix and bus and used it like L2, but is there anyone who uses it like me?
Is my understanding of the Mighty Compressor correct? I’m interested in everyone’s opinions.
Just saw this post and decided to try it out. Didn’t mess with it long but it sounded like it was working like the maximizer. Whci is cool because I need a maximizer on my final bus for mixing a live stream on our Avantis. Will be playing with it some more.
I’m using mighty compressor on snare top and all tom’s, sometimes also on heavy guitars.
