We’re doing a lot of live recording using the multitrack USB drive on my QU32. As part of the mix I have Channels 31 and 32 connected to room mics that are used primarily for IEM ambiance. The mics are placed on the pole between the sub and the top speaker. They’re never turned on for live performance, they’re only for ambiance in the recording. They seem fine for everyone in their IEMs, but the recording is bass heavy (directly over the sub), and I’d like to use a post-EQ send to the USB in order to roll off the LF and capture more crowd, while all the others remain Pre-EQ. Is this even possible, a pre-fader post EQ send to USB for just two of the 18 tracks?

You can apply that same HPF in your DAW or alternatively send ‘m to a (stereo) mix and record that.

    Good luck !
