Ok, so the T112 surface has 2 USB ports on the back side that I’m presuming were intended for keyboard and mouse connections when using an external monitor and you can also connect a thumb drive for backup/firmware updates, etc….
My question is, can you use 2 thumb-drives?
With our setup we have a short USB extension cable routed to the front of the surface so we can plug in without opening up the back side for our operators to access.
We are considering connecting a drive to the 2nd slot to stay connected all the time and still leave the front access available for temp drive connections.
I’m afraid if we use the front connection for the fixed drive, it will get removed and set aside and left out or lost….
