Just snowed in today and playing with QU got me to thinking about its future. I would bet money AH is working on an expanded version. Seems next logical step. 16 ch is highest selling console but most clients of mine always need or want more. So after all the features are implemented the next thing would be more channels.
If this frame size is still desired it seems like a new version pushing it to 24 but for sure 32. The now custom layer could be 17-32 with a change in layer buttons. 8 local inputs plus 3 stereo then 24 from AR2412. All channels available to ME-1.
For me a larger restyled frame would be more pro looking. I think it would be slightly more money than X32 but more desirable and still not be a threat to GLD.
I am sure there are other ideas or design differences. This is just what made sense to me.
Groups would then be much more of a necessity. Or DCA’s.
