Connection flawless. Implicates my wifi devices in disconnects.
RTAndroid on the RPi is still clearly a beta! But that’s fine, it did the first half flawlessly, the. Had a hissy fit for the first section of the second set before behaving perfectly to the end (and I was using the BCF quite a bit by then (hands on DCAs etc.
Quite a fun excercise…
Pi to the right of the desk, screen and BCF to the left, iPad over those…2017/03/28 at 1:43 pm #62418andrescarbonelParticipantHi, works with 1.9 firmware, if does i buy a android tablet. Please i need a answer.
2017/03/28 at 2:46 pm #62420debzdoodleParticipantYes it does -VERY well!!!
2017/03/28 at 3:58 pm #62424davidgiga1993ParticipantHi,
as already mentioned it does work with 1.9. But there are quite some things which are not supported
due to protocol limitations. This is also the reason why there is no update recently. My plan for the future is to implement the iPad protocol which allows access to all parameters but
there is no documentation for it available so it takes quite some time to reverse engineer everything.
Also it seems like the iPad protocol has much less bugs than the midi protocol.OT: Why the hell is the A&H forum still running on http and not https?
It’s 2017 and certs do not cost anything. Also wpengine (where this page is hosted) can integrate tls for free.2017/03/28 at 9:20 pm #62432AnonymousInactiveWhy the heck is the A&H forum still running on http and not https?
Yes I agree.

Is this one of the functions you can’t implement? This kind of makes it unusable as FoH control. Also, the fx sends for each channel seem to be missing. Hope you can fix it somehow. Is this also the case for the pro version? I may have sideload the Google play version onto my Amazon tablet, but I see you have an Amazon version now. Will that solve my issue?
2017/11/02 at 6:43 am #66049glennParticipantI think I may have figured it out, but need to test with the mixer. When the end -> fader button is not pushed, you are in LR mode. Also found individual fx sends by selecting this and selecting fx bus below it.

@glenn
In case you own the pro version, you can also fully customize your mixer layout:
https://bugs.dev-core.org/w/ms/custom_layout/Also I’m working on a quite large internal change which will allow me to implement all the features from the ipad app.
I hope to get a prototype running today or tomorrow and start migrating the existing features by end of this week (in case everything works out as planned)2017/11/02 at 4:06 pm #66065jakethepegParticipantDid A&H give you their advanced protocol? If so, is it able to be shared? Would love to have it for my app..
2017/11/25 at 5:36 pm #66516FrankParticipantI owned the Pro-Version already… when the new implementations will work, how do I know about update? Will the app update automatically, like other playstoreapps? Would be very interestet, because than I must not buy an Ipad extra.
Other question: How many android-pads will be able to connect at the same time. Only one, or more, like the QU-You App?
2018/01/02 at 11:55 am #67814davidgiga1993ParticipantHi,
the update will be available as an regular update via the app store.
Beta testers can already test the new version (if you want to test as well here is a guide on how to become a tester:
https://bugs.dev-core.org/w/ms/beta/)The new app features has already access to all FX (although the UI is just generic for now), scene management and other stuff that has been missing before like the channel/mix delay.
Also the accuracy of the values have been improved a lot (before there were only 127 steps for an entire value range). It is also possible to connect up to 4 instances of Mixing Station + 2 iPads – maybe even more.
Supported firmware versions are: 1.82 and >=1.90 (note that 1.82 has not all scene functionality so I would recommend updating to 1.90)I’m currently working on making more features available like the QuDrive, Routing, Channel and FX presets, …
Once the app is running smoothly (no crashes, stable connection) it will be released for all users. The custom layout feature also has been improved and has more actions which can be assigned.
