You can use a xlr splitter to feed the figure 8 microphone to two channels.
Then flip the polarity on one channel. Pan hard left and right.
Then your good to go.
Thanks Mike, nothing wrong with the conventional approach I agree, just a bit messy after getting used to RME totalmix in my laptop with built in M&S decoding.
Moon on a stick would be handy too : )
I record 2 mics in M/S configuration in to channel 1&2 on the QU-16, then on to digital Performer
on a laptop. I throw on an M/S decoder and bring it back into the QU-16 for monitoring……..
