Can you advise if there is a max number of wav file for the USB stick ?
I have copied 60 wav files on a USB stick and only 30 of them are available in the CQ player.
Some of the file are impossible to be displayed.
I have convert them from mp3 files to 44kHz 16 bit.
They all have the correct sample rate and bit depth.
Is there another parameter to consider to be able to play wav file inside the CQ player ?

SQ has a Bug, which Limits Files to around 200. So a new Bug in CQ?

If 200 is a bug then I should be able to see my 60 files.

I have sixty on a USB in my CQ18T.
I formatted the drive and copied them all over in one lot.
Like I use on my QU drive, I convert all my files via iTunes and they work 100%.
Just going by the properties is no guarantee they’ll work in my experience.
No bug as far as I can see, it’s just fussy!

Yes I am expecting a conversion issue as the files are mp3 converted to wave.
    I will try another soft.

So I am still having issue not being able to get my file displayed into the USB stick.
    There must be another reason.
I am thinking of file naming, max characters, forbidden ones or something else.
I would appréciate if an A&H rep. could give me help here if possible.
    Tks.

    Further to my previous post:
I found that adding or deleting files on the usb drive gave unreliable results on the QU series – numerical and alphabetical ordering went awry.
The only consistent way for my files to be in order was to copy them en mass to a drive that had been formatted in the mixer.
I use a numbering system to put my files in order.
No problems with long file names.
Definitely not using any special characters.
When converted on iTunes with basic settings and using the above transfer method, all my files copy over.
All my old files for QU have gone over.
    I haven’t tried any 44.1 or 96k ones yet.

I managed to get my files accessible by CQ media player.
    I was using a 64Gb USB sick.
All is OK when I use a 32 Gb stick.
So even USB stick sized above 32Gb can be handle and formatted by CQ media player, it is not 100% working all the time.
This is anyhow conform to the manual.

Well I roll back, it still doesn’t work as expected.
Some file are not displayed, I have not clue why.
Sometime it is the full stick that is not accessible and show a display as in the picture joint, sometime only some files…
    I give up.
To me the media player is not working correctly.
