FX instructions

Newbie. I followed the instructions in the manual but FX still don´t work. Is there any good instructions to learn how to use FX?
Please help me.

I am not at a mixer but basically. Go to layer 3. Make sure all but first 3 faders are up to 0. Go back to layer 1. Turn mic 1 up till you have sound. Press FX1 on right side. All faders should go down. Bring fader 1 up. You should have something like reverb if that is on fx1. Check back panel settings on FX page for that effect. Make sure set to fx1 and not a mix buss. That should work.

Just to clarify – by “layer 3”, GCumbee means the upper layer button, and “layer 1” is the lower button.

The thing that’s missing from the ‘how to set FX’ is that you have to set the level of FX return. It’s at infinity by default, ie nothing in the mix.
