Foot Switch Setting

A producer has requested a foot switch to operate his stage address/talk back mic to the floor. Simple TS foot switch, TS to TS cable to the foot switch 1/4″ on the back of the SQ.

Three settings on the foot switch page other than unassigned. Latching, Momentary, and Soft Latch. I set the switch to Momentary and it acts exactly like the Soft Latch setting. Step and hold, momentary. Step and quick release, latched “on”. I never want the mic to EVER be latched “on”. Bug or operator error?

Figured it out from another thread. The little box on the Talk page. “Momentary+Latch”? Off!
