Default User Login

We use a QU-16. In normal use, if the desk is powered down at the mains, then when it’s powered back up the “Basic” user is logged in. If the Admin user is logged in and the desk is powered down, then the desk comes up without any users logged in. The Basic user has no password.

Is it possible to configure the desk so that on power up, it logs into the Basic user?

It always logs back into the last account used, or the one used to power down the console. Usually if making changes using the admin account, I will re-log in as the desired account, then shutdown the console.

Hello @StefanN,

The mixer will always power up in the same state as it was powered down. This is a standard on A&H consoles.
It isn’t possible to configure the console to an specific user or scene to boot up.

The best solution would be to make sure that the Basic user is logged before shutting down or, if the intention is to avoid users to operating under the Admin user, then setting up a password on the Admin user which will force them to log into the Basic user at start up.
