We have an iLive-iDR-32 system with R72 surface and PL-10 remotes. We’d now like to make building announcements through this system, so would like a contact closure input to unmute a microphone input, and we look forward to using the PL-8 for this.
I know that when configured for mutes, the push-buttons on the PL-10 toggle the mute. But for this PL-8 application we’d need the PL-8’s contact closure inputs to be momentary, so the iLive input is only unmuted momentarily while the contact is closed (or open, whichever is needed) rather than toggled with each contact closure.
So my question is, when a PL-8 is configured so that a contact closure input controls an iLive input mute, is the mute toggled or momentary with each contact closure.
