I am currently using a Radio Shack cat 5e (100′) for around $60 and have had zero issues… I also saw a special on cat 5e through “Parts Express” and purchased 2 – 50 footers for $5 each and they work perfectly…

I use them in a couple of venues I frequent and they are installed up in the rafters so all I have to do is grab them and plug them in…

Of course the radio shack is my backup…

Would love to get the real cat 5 snake from A&H but cannot really seem to find them anywhere around… The Behringer option seems solid if I want to get a more robust shielded cable.

And frankly – cat5 is cat5. If you get touring capable cable from anyone it should be fine.

@Dr. J, I use the Behringer-branded reel of Cat 5 all the time and it works perfectly, even in ballrooms when catering staff are rolling carts over it.

Sounds like a good way to go airickess…
