Can an SQ5 show file be loaded to SQ6?

My local theatre has an SQ6 and I personally have an SQ5..
What is the best way for me to copy / share a show file I created for my SQ5 to the SQ6? Will it load directly?

It should load, providing the firmware versions match.
ohh and remember the last 8 faders on each layer will not be populated until you make the layer assigns on the SQ6.

I can also say that it works flawlessly.
You can use your sq-5 stick and load the show into the sq-6 in the same way.

As @sorensteinmetz said the show will load correctly – but you won’t get anything on the last 8 faders – like wise in reverse if you have information
on those last 8 faders it will not be shown on your SQ5.

Of course, you can also prepare your show for the SQ-6 offline with the MixPad app and push the result from there or via a stick into the theater console.
