Cable problem

So I had to put a new end on one of my cat 5 cables, now when I connect to the snake and board I get a link error on the snake. Yes it’s wired right. Not sure what is causing this or how I should fix it. Should I cut it off and put a new end on both sides? While I get an error it still works but will randomly drop all audio.

Remake that end, and do it right this time.

Or get a proper network cable tester on. It will tell you where the break is, and in which cable…
And how both ends are wired 😉
