Audio sync usage

Can I get clarification. Here’s my set up
Sq6 ( FOH).
Sq5 ( mons)
Slink card on sq5
Gx4816 stage box
Here’s the question
Do I have to change the audio sync setting on either sq. or do I just leave it at “internal”
I am not running videos etc just live band gigs

One of them has to sync to SLink. You can’t have both acting as the clock master.

Looking at your setup again, I would sync the SQ6 to SLink and let the SQ5 act as the master (keep as internal) since there are 2 SLink cards in it.

Just remember, that if you use the SQ6 alone at times, you will have to switch it back to internal clock.
