Yes, I’ve used both apps extensively, and yes, MixPad offers more functionality. But the others don’t stop working in the middle of a show, like MixPad does, and it does so several times a night.Really? Because every time my ipad goes to sleep for longer than several mins (aka locks) stagemix disconnects, and i have to quit the app to get it to open again.
Yes small tweaks are nice to have from an ipad, but and ipad is not the same thing as a dedicated hardware piece, or a laptop…
I know in the end of the day all that matters is if it works. I also agree that by charging $100 AH sets up expectations of something more than ‘a free tool’. I totally get that.

Thank you very much for working on this. Will definitely wait patiently.
2012/07/02 at 1:07 am #30941ElphieParticipantWill the update also fix the issue when mixing a stereo Aux, the ability to pan a channel is removed? The pan function is there when mixing the main output, but disappears when mixing a stereo aux. I thought that was kind of important function in a stereo Aux.
Looking forward to the update, thanks for the effort A&H.

Just to keep everyone in the loop, we’ve pushed a maintenance release of MixPad to Apple for approval today.
They now have to sign it off, which can take some time, but it’s on its way!
Cheers

2012/07/11 at 11:07 pm #30972MarkgcarterParticipantHi gents,
Can I get some feedback on the app update? We are waiting for it as it seemed to have been released but there’s no sign yet? Has it really gone to Apple or is it still in work?

Released to Apple for approval – not to us! Did you not read Andy’s post above?

Just one question – what does that mean – pushed to apple for signing? It means that that apple review the code and content of the app before they release it onto the App store.
Quote taken from the developer website
“The app approval process is in place to ensure that applications are reliable, perform as expected, and are free of explicit and offensive material. We review every app on the App Store based on a set of technical, content, and design criteria.”

Hope that helps

Interesting to know. And how long can this take? When to expect that the update is “online”?
2012/07/16 at 9:46 am #30996bucksParticipantHi Guys
The App has been approved, and I’ve pushed the ‘release’ button.
It should propagate to the different App store servers over the next 24 hours.
Cheers
