from the user pdf files
Note: Only set passwords if you really need to.
Make sure you keep a log of all passwords
allocated. Clearing passwords required resetting
internal jumpers and clearing the memories.RayS

2011/02/11 at 7:30 pm #27372RaySParticipantT series uses dip switches instead of jumpers……access from rear of mixrack/surface next to midi connectors
switch 4 is for resetting password users etc….
RESET PROCEDURE
1. Power OFF.
2. Move appropriate switch to UP.
3. Power ON. Allow system to boot.
4. When system has booted – power OFF.
5. Move switch to DOWN.
6. Re-boot system.RayS

got same situation here- iLive has 2 users defined, Admin and user. Cannot switch to Admin, password lost.
Tried what RayS suggested, however there is no switches at the back of mixrack, nor the midi connectors.
I assume it was surface mentioned, so I found 4 dip switches, but after completeing these 6 steps still can’t switch to Admin.Anything more left to try?

2012/08/29 at 7:09 am #31252s0lraParticipantAny other advice on this issue? I bought my iLive T80 and iDR32 from an auction of a company gone into liquidation. I dont have access to the admin password at all.
Ive tried flipping the 4th dip switch up on console for boot process and it had no effect. Also my iDR32 has the black plug but no dip switches, is this unusual?2012/08/29 at 7:43 am #31253StixParticipantThe dip switches are behind the black plastic cap – did you remove it?

We changed the non-modular mix racks to put the dip switches inside the Port B slot, on the right. This was because the iDR-16 PSU board mounts vertically behind the Main Board, blocking any access to rear-facing dip switches. There may have been a changeover period where a rear panel with the black plug was used together with a newer Main Board, which had the revised dip switch location.
If you look inside your Port B slot, you should see a set of 4 dip switches on the right hand side. These function in the same way as before.
Hope this helps.
