Co-signing a general unhappiness with the FX. It’s not the end of the world for me, I’m using the CQ12 primarily as a signal processor, but the FX are oddly not great.
– I’m not convinced the FX assist settings are assisting me at all
– Wet/dry leveling work seems harder and less effective than other units I’ve used, especially in shared FX mode. The Level assist did nothing helpful 🙁 Can I currently set a global wet/dry mix that applies to all FX?
– It’s weirdly clunky to switch a unit to a new effect (why am I scrolling through items in a folder? After tapping a folder icon?) —- I’d love to be able to have a few different FX staged in “tabs” on the screen above the FX unit to switch between using taps, without exiting the screen I’m looking at and scrolling through a computer menu
– Am I incorrect or can I not assign multiple FX units to the same output channel? I didn’t spend all day trying to figure it out; maybe there’s a matrix I can hack together?
– Auto-detect BPM would be nice
– Some kind of crush or crunch would also be great, something to make the sound more aggressive
Better FX help me not have to bring a separate FX box to smaller DJ gigs!
